Art Classes for Kids – We offer ongoing drop-off art workshops for kids ages 6 – 12.

We have both: Weekday After School & Weekend Art Camp (year round)

Our after school workshop is a 2 part course. Classes are Monday through Friday 4-5:30pm. Courses are 2 consecutive weeks (i.e. Two Mondays, or two Tuesdays, etc…). Each day has a different theme.

Mondays: Featured Artist.  Students will look at a particular artist’s work and learn the style and technique used by the artist. 
Tuesdays: Animals. The focus is of animals in art. Students learn how to paint animals close up or from far away and in various habitats.
Wednesdays: Mixed Media. This class will focus on the use of different materials. Students will create art looking at subject matter from abstract to realistic pieces using different mediums.
Thursdays: Drawing. Students will learn the  fundamentals of drawing, including but not limited to perspective, light and shadow and composition, with the use of various drawing materials.
Fridays: Fantasy. An interactive class where students look at a particular aspect of fantasy art, from fairies to dragons, to recognizable cartoons and caricatures in a made up or realistic environment. This class welcomes input and encourage students to make suggestions on subject matter.

Weekday 2 Week Course Fee: $68 includes all art materials.

Saturday – Sunday   10:00 – 1:00 pm

Weekend Art Camp Fee: $55 includes all art materials

Art Classes for Teens

Weekday After School & Weekend Art Workshops Ages 12 – 16

Monday – Friday 4:00 – 5:30 pm   ~   Saturday – Sunday   10:00 – 1:00 pm

Ages 13 – 16 will explore a more extensive art program that focuses on color theory, painting techniques, color mixing, classic and contemporary artist. Advanced booking is required

Weekday Class Fee: $45 includes all art materials

Weekend Class Fee: $65 includes all art materials

1/2 Day – Afternoon   1pm – 4pm    $55.00 per session

Full Day   9am – 4pm                            $110.00 per session

Extended Hours   4pm – 5:30pm   $35.00 per session

Full Week Camp Sessions:

Drawing, Painting, Mixed Media, Printmaking, Transfers, Cyanotypes and more!  Each 3 hour workshop is unique and will focus on art projects tailored to your child’s age. Sibling discounts available when you enroll more than one child. Please ask for details.

Please provide a snack and drink for your child when enrolled for the half-day camp.  Please pack a lunch for your child if enrolled for full day camp.  Camp sessions must be booked in advance, with a minimum one day notice. No drop-ins will be permitted on the day of camp.

PAINT:LAB has a 24 hour cancellation policy. Any cancellations with less than 24 hour notice will forfeit 40% of enrollment fees paid. Customer forfeits entire amount if cancellation is less than 5 hrs. No show will result in a full forfeiture of the amount paid for specific event or class. All deal vouchers are subject to forfeiture with less than 24 hours notice to reschedule.  The Studio does not issue refunds. Studio credit is offered for returned merchandise or cancelled workshops and camps within the restrictions outlined above.
