Adult Drawing Workshop/ Course. Available as a single Workshop – $53.00 or as a 6-Week Course – $275. Includes ALL materials and 2 hours of instruction. Each workshop will include at least 30 minutes of demonstration and at most 90 minutes of individual work with guidance from our instructor! Â

ALL Levels.Â
10/2/24 and 11/13/24 – Introduction and drawing a sphere:
In this class, students will delve into fundamental drawing tools like pencils and paper, and master their usage. They will then draw a sphere, gaining insights into distinguishing between cast shadows and form shadows, with the goal of effectively depicting three-dimensional objects.
10/9/24 and 11/20/24 – Still Life drawing:
Students will learn still life drawing from real objects. They will learn how to capture shapes, and some drawing techniques such as measuring, shadowing, and hatching, with the goal of accurately drawing multiple objects.
10/16/24 and 11/27/24 – Gesture drawing:
Students will learn how to draw the human body with gestures. By understanding the structure and flow of the human body, their aim is to be able to draw humans within a short time or from imagination. They will start with stick figures and eventually progress to depicting muscles.
10/23/24 and 12/4/24 – Portrait drawing:
Students will learn portrait drawing. By understanding facial proportion and the structure with different angles. In this class, their goal is to accurately depict human faces.
10/30/24 and 12/11/24 – Drawing a whole body:
Students will learn how to draw a human figure from a master’s drawing. Unlike gesture drawing, they will carefully observe the reference and create detailed drawing. They will learn how to accurately capture shapes and represent values.
11/16/24 and 12/18/24 – Personal project:
Utilizing what they’ve learned in previous classes, students will create individual art pieces based on photos they provide. They will receive advice from the instructor on the techniques necessary to express what they want to draw.
Please note that all classes must be reserved in advance and are subject to availability. Individual classes may be canceled due to insufficient enrollment 24 hours prior to event.
